About Us

Dogs have always been an important part of my life.  Growing up I knew I wanted to work with animals and when I had a particular dog who was extremely fearful and challenging together began an amazing behavioural journey with him that changed our lives forever.

I wanted to better understand his behaviour and how I could help him, and the more I learned the more I was thirsty to help otherdogs and owners.   I was already working with dogs in day care and dog walking when I made the leap to study a Canine Behavioural Science and Advanced level Training Degree at Bishop Burton (the only Canine specific behavioural degree in the country).

My dog Guinness practically took the degree with me, and I am very grateful to him for everything I have learnt and the dramatic positive change he made to my life that enables me to help other dogs like him.

Since then, I have never looked back. In my 10 years practising I have helped train and rehabilitate a great number of dogs on their own journey with their families. I never stop learning through Continued Professional Development to ensure I am always at the forefront of applied behavioural science to be the best behaviourist and trainer I can possibly be for my clients. I also mentor and help the education of other student trainers through the Kennel Club Accreditation Scheme.

Paula O’Sullivan

I am passionate about the study of dog behaviour and communication in order to improve the connection of dog and human relationships.

I’m a fully qualified Specialist Canine Behaviourist and an Advanced Level Trainer B.A. (Hons) FdSc.  I am also studying a Post Grad in Behavioural Science to continue my CPD.

This includes Kennel Club listed status to gold standard (KCGCDS). I am a full member of International Canine Behaviourists, which sets the standard of qualified specialised Canine Behaviourists and a member of ICAN.  I am also a member of the UK Behaviour and Training Charter.  I have 10 years practical experience in behaviour modification, and I also train assistance dogs and therapy dogs.

I teach our obedience dog training courses and aim to provide the highest level of kind and effective training techniques based on the most advanced scientific principles of canine theory.  We aspire to help owners understand the ‘how and why’ fun and positive training methods are so affective, using them in the right way to encourage good behaviour and aid communication and connection for a better relationship.

Previously I have worked collaboratively with various councils on dog walking licenses and DCO’s and provided talks and workshops for other dog professionals, including the Royal Parks and Kennel Club to spread the word on professional practise and positive training for other professionals.  During this time, I was also the Vice President of Association of Professional Dog Walkers.  I am also working collaboratively with Hounslow Council to support educational programmes through dog therapy for children with Autism and ADHD.

Louise Breton

I provide puppy consultations, one-to-one dog training and teach some of the puppy, scent and parkour fusion classes for Walkies & Waggietails.

I am a Kennel Club Accredited Instructor (KCAI)

I joined the Walkies & Waggietails team 7 years ago  as part of a mentor programme through the Kennel Club Accreditation Scheme.  Paula and I later collaboratively created Dog Parkour Fusion, which is a new form of quirky urban agility.  I am also qualified as a UK Sniffer Dogs Scent Detection Instructor.

I teach puppy consultations, one to one training and teach some of the puppy schools, UK Sniffer dogs courses and the Dog Parkour Fusion Courses.

After a scary number of years climbing the corporate ladder in the travel industry, I decided there was more to life, and it was our newly adopted Hungarian Vizsla ‘Bosco’ who helped me to realise it. I was lucky enough to be able to give up sitting behind a desk every day and start enjoying adventures with Bosco and start working with dogs.

As an adopted dog Bosco came with all sorts of quirks and taking Paula’s Walkies & Waggietails Junior Class helped me bond and understand him more.  We went on to study and complete our Kennel Club Good Citizen Awards.  I then went into the mentoring programme at Walkies and Waggietails to become a KCAI instructor and qualified in 2022.

My husband runs a dog walking business and I have spent the past 5 years immersed in all thing’s dogs. It is an excellent way to study pet dog behaviour and body language.

I have such an affinity towards dogs. Their unwavering loyalty and pure intent was something I recognised and cherished from a young age.

I grew up with my family dog, a miniature Schnauzer named Chloe. Her companionship was such a vital part of my upbringing. In fact, I have only ever been without a dog for short periods of my life. It was my fondness for dogs, and all animals in general, that drove me to study a Wildlife Conservation degree at the University of Kent. Once completed, I still wasn't sure what career direction I wanted to take. What I did know, was that I wanted to work with dogs.

Hannah Drugnick

I teach the puppy & Intermediate level courses in our Isleworth venue. I am also a trainee vet nurse.

I am a Kennel Club Accredited Instructor (KCAI). I joined the Walkies & Waggietails team 3 years ago  as part of a mentor programme through the Kennel Club Accreditation Scheme.

After some time as a full time dog walker, and having known Paula for a while, I started assitsing  her Tuesday evening classes as part of a mentor programme with Walkies & Waggietails and Kennel Club.   I am now a fully qualified Kennel Club Accrecited Instructor and teach the puppy and Junior/Intermediate level courses in Isleworth, as well as providing one to one training programmes.

It was my then dog, Evie, that piqued my interest in (dog) training. She was a Wheaten Terrier, extremely intelligent, and I would spend hours on end teaching her different tricks and we were approached to have her in a theatre production! It was then that I realised my passion for dogs could be channeled into something practical, so we enrolled Evie into the Kennel Club Good Citizens dog training scheme, which is where I was introduced to Paula.
